OVERVIEW

The department of ObGy at MAKNGMC is a multispeciality department, providing high quality care in the areas of antenatal care, postnatal welfare, infertility, oncology and urogynaecology.

The department brings together first-rate clinical services with an updated academic curriculum and advanced level of research.

Vision and Mission

The vision is to establish a centre of excellence for the reproductive health needs of women, train the next generation and to be involved in expanding research. We strive to nurture an academic and patient care environment conductive to acquiring and imparting high quality education, conducting innovative scientific research and providing promotive, preventive and curative community services in an empathetic, humanistic and ethical manner.

She is a dedicated & experienced Obstetrics and Gynaecologist with more than 6 years of experience in maternal and women's health. Highly skilled doctor excelling in numerous normal vaginal deliveries (including breech and VBAC), independent caesarean sections, and D&C/D&E procedures. Assisted in major open surgeries (TAH, laparotomy) and laparoscopic procedures (TLH, cystectomy, salpingectomy).
